FAW signed a contract with Bosch, and the truck can be upgraded automatically.

On May 15th, the Bosch Internet World Conference (BWC) with the theme of “Internet of Things and Digital Transformation” kicked off in Berlin, Germany. During the conference, FAW Jiefang and Bosch signed a strategic alliance agreement in Stuttgart, Germany. According to the agreement, the two parties will Cooperation around the fields of intelligence, network, new energy, and national six engine systems( FAW parts, Faw truck parts )




At the meeting, FAW and Bosch jointly announced that the liberation full range of heavy trucks( FAW spare parts,Jiefang truck parts)will be equipped with Bosch FOTA (over the air download software upgrade) technology, which is the first FOTA upgrade solution in the domestic commercial vehicle field.

It is understood that FOTA is a remote upgrade feature. The application upgrade of smart phones is familiar to everyone. The FOTA upgrade solution is to “copy” the technology and concept of mobile phone upgrade to the field of intelligent commercial vehicles, and realize remote upgrade of control and entertainment systems such as vehicle ECU, VCU and vehicle interaction. .

This service will be applied to J6, J7 and other full range of car products to provide users with more efficient and caring services.
