Ford: More than 160,000 F-150 pickups will be recalled in North America

Ford also announced the recall of more than 59,664 Lincoln MKX models produced between 2016 and 2017. The 3.7-liter engine of these models uses the problematic battery harness. If the harness is in contact with the transmission cable bracket, it may become shorter and increase the risk of fire.
Ford said it has received three related fires, but no accidents or injuries. These cars were produced at Ford's Oakville assembly plant in Canada from November 12, 2014 to September 11, 2017.
