(1) Masterpiece: Yellow River JN150





In April 1960, China’s first heavy-duty truck, the Yellow River JN150, was successfully developed at Jinan Automobile Manufacturing Plant. Since then, China’s production of heavy-duty trucks has been opened. As the first domestically-made heavy-duty truck, it is full of the dreams of too many autobots. .
The Yellow River JN150 is a modified version of the Skoda 706RT at the former Czechoslovak Liberec Automobile Plant. In 1959, Jinan Automobile Manufacturing Plant bought two Skoda 706RT cars, one for dismantling and the other for benchmarking. This started the difficult story of building a car. After multiple rounds of trial production tests, JN150 Finally passed the appraisal and acceptance.

(2) Masterpiece: Yellow River JN162


In 1973, Jinan Automobile Manufacturing Plant developed the second-generation Yellow River 10-ton JN162 heavy-duty truck. The vehicle has a maximum speed of 80km/h and a fuel consumption of 26.5 liters/100 kilometers. It is a leader among similar vehicles in China and has become the domestic heavy-duty truck. (3) Masterpiece: Star-Steyr heavy truck

In June 1989, my country's first domestically produced Star-Steyr heavy-duty truck rolled off the assembly line at Jinan Automobile General Plant. After nearly 20 years, Steyr has almost become synonymous with China's heavy-duty vehicles.
In December 983, in order to change the pattern of China’s “lack of weight, less light” at that time, the China National Heavy Duty Automobile Industry Association and Austria’s Steyr-Daimler-Pucher AG signed a “Heavy Vehicle Manufacturing Technology Transfer Contract” in Beijing. Introduced Steyr 91 series heavy vehicles with a total mass of 16-40t, and also introduced supporting ZF gearboxes, steering gears( Howo parts, Sinotruk parts ) and Fuller transmissions.

The Steyr technology introduced by my country was at the international level in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The full introduction of Steyr technology has gone through the process of digestion, absorption and integration. China National Heavy Duty Truck Group has reasonably matched engines, clutches, gearboxes, steering gears, bridges and cabs through different combinations to form a wide range of variants with different tonnages, different uses, different forms, and various types.

As the main model of the new generation of China's heavy-duty trucks, Steyr has won the favor of the majority of users for its strong on-board capability, good adaptability and low price.
